Industrial Rehabilitation and Safety Programs
Getting injured workers back to work with our Industrial Rehab Program. The following programs ensure a safe return to work. Our clinicians communicate in a timely manner with case managers, adjusters, employers and physicians to make the process easier on all involved.
Work Conditioning is an individualized, transitional program designed to restore an injured worker’s function to facilitate a safe return to work. It is typically used to bridge the transition from injury to formal physical therapy and return to employment. Work Conditioning can be coordinated with light duty work or return to full duty.
Fremont Therapy Group’s Work Conditioning goals include restoration of function through increasing strength, range of motion and endurance, improved posture and work tolerance and safety education to reduce the risk of re-injury.
Functional Capacity Evaluations
Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) are a valuable tool in the workers’ compensation realm. These comprehensive assessments determine the physical ability of the injured worker to return to work at a particular level. An objective, easy-to-read report includes information regarding the worker’s job requirements and functional abilities to determine their return-to-work potential.
Fremont Therapy doesn’t just treat injured workers, they partner with employers to prevent injury/illness and to evaluate return-to-work potential. Their on-site programs help employers improve
employee awareness of hazardous working postures, symptom control and injury prevention.
With regards to return-to-work potential, they provide an assessment of the employee’s critical job demands to determine their ability and time frame to return to work, provide possible interventions to allow for safer approaches to the job, set baseline criteria for employee evaluations, and identify reasonable accommodations the employer may consider for the employee to return to full-time work.
