Normajean Driscoll

Normajean Driscoll

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Normajean enjoys being involved in healthcare as part of the solution, rather than simply treating symptoms a patient may have. Normajean has a passion for strength and conditioning and implements this expertise with her patient treatment. She welcomes the challenge that comes with properly loading advanced patients, but also adores working with the geriatric population to decrease the risk of falls and improve their independence using strength training. Normajean thrives on the fact that physical therapy allows her to be creative in addressing the issues one may be facing, while also being allowed the time to truly delve into who her patients are and establish a relationship. Rural healthcare is where Normajean has found her niche--she appreciates the variety and intricate patient cases found in the small town setting.

Normajean attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney for her undergraduate degree in exercise science. She then earned her doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In addition, Normajean completed her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. This CSCS certification allows Normajean to use scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance by conducting sport-specific testing sessions, designing and implementing safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs, in addition providing guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention.

A Nebraska native, Normajean and her golden retriever have embraced all the hiking and exploring that comes with the Wyoming way of life. She also enjoys weightlifting and competes in Strong Man competitions.
